Xabier de Beristain Humphrey

FOUNDER

Half-Basque, half-British, Xabier is fluent in English, Spanish, French and German, which enables him to work closely with British as well as many European, South American and African players and managers. Working in sport since 2009 and a registered FA intermediary, Xabier has had clients at both British and European clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Valencia, Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Athletic Bilbao, Genk and Marseille as well as many other clubs . He has also represented rugby players at Saracens, and British, European and World Champion boxers. A lawyer since May 2006, Xabier previously worked at leading law firms in London, Madrid and Paris.

He splits his support half-Athletic-Bilbao and half-Manchester United and regularly travels to watch his favourite teams.

Katrina Kulica

Katrina has previously worked across Asia, Latvia, and London as an office manager in HR and as a personal assistant in various industries such as finance, architecture, property management, tourism and company formation and support services for over 12 years. Her efficient but friendly manner enables her to play a key role liaising with parents and players where she assists by managing player documentation and liaising with the FA and the players’ clubs, organising travel for Division X Sports its players and their families as well as various other player and parent matters that can arise. Additionally, Katrina communicates with clients and players on a regular basis in four different languages (English, French, Latvian and Russian).

Roshan Sooriah

Roshan has played and has been involved in football since a young age.
He previously coached footballers at Fletcher Moss in Manchester for over a year and has since been working with DivisionX in identifying new talent in the Manchester and North East area.
He is also focussed on building relationships with players, coaches scouts and more, creating a wider network and developing himself into a well respected intermediary in this industry.

Ashley Pugh

Ash is a former semi-professional footballer who has been working over the last few years to develop Football Intermediaries training in partnership with Division X.

He has a detailed background in football having also coached, achieved scouting qualifications, and has a degree in journalism.
He has also built a wide network in football by writing for various blogs and wide-reaching international publications.
Ash’s footballing pedigree led to his current role with Division X in player liaison and scouting in the South East region.

Javi Gonzalez

Javi was one of the first 20 licenced intermediaries in Spanish football.
With over 30 years’ experience in Spanish football, Javi works closely with most clubs in Spain especially in and around Madrid and the North of Spain. His experience ranges from advising clubs such as Deportivo Alaves on takeover bids to running for president of Athletic Bilbao FC.
He has represented over 100 footballers playing at over 30 Spanish football clubs.

Daniel Villagran

Daniel has deep experience in Argentinian club football. He works closely with a number of clubs, including Boca Juniors, River Plate and Racing Club among others.
Working exclusively with Division X Sports, Daniel works to identify top young talent from South America as well as established players from the Continent. Together, we negotiate transfers for these players into Europe’s top leagues. Some of the players we have worked with include Jonathan Calleri, Nicolás Lodeiro, Claudio Yacob, Ignacio Scoco and Leonel Vangioni.

Christian Villagran

Cristian is Daniel’s son and works closely with his father. He resides in Switzerland and works with many of the clubs there as well as elsewhere in Europe.

Cristian was himself an elite sportsman, having been a successful professional tennis player, representing Switzerland in the Davis Cup with Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka. Today he heads up Division X sports recruitment for Switzerland and Germany.
